A new Destination Center, on one of the most well-travelled crossing places between EU and Russia
By spring 2016, a new Destination Center will open in Vaalimaa, Finland, on one of the most important crossing points between the EU and Russia, halfway from Helsinki to St. Petersburg. The Destination Center will include a luxury outlet of 10,000 SqM , a 150-room design hotel, the first casino on the border, a wellness center, lounge bars and restaurants. With a catchment area of more than 4 million people within 150 min driving, Vaalimaa Luxury Outlet aims to reach the Russian market by offering very competitive prices, thanks to the VAT refund for non-EU residents.
