MAPIC: What currently are your main business objectives?
Sandrine Girault: Fauchon has set several key objectives for the next 12 months, and building up to its 140th anniversary in 2026, focusing on growth, innovation and collaborations. Fauchon is expanding its presence internationally, including recent openings in Doha, Antalia and Dubai, and an upcoming flagship opening in 2025 in North America. ‘Food First & Always’ is part of our values, and as such, our global executive chef Sébastien Monceaux remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of flavour and food design, from working on new chocolate creations to bold flavours for macarons, inspired by the best of France terroir or local tastes in our international franchises.
Fauchon also continues to engage in innovative collaborations to reach broader audiences. A notable partnership in early 2024 was with Heinz, where we created a limited-edition collection of Tomacarons, a red berries, rhubarb, ginger and a touch of tomato ketchup sweet macaron. Other great collaborations are in the works, establishing a renewed voice and a bold mentality born from Fauchon’s rich history, in order to set the future of this luxury brand.
