It is well-known that MAPIC, the international retail property market held every November in Cannes, has close ties with France. Yet, the MAPIC Roadshow decided to head towards the USA on the occasion of Bastille Day. Industry experts and leaders from the retail sector in the USA and abroad gathered for an informal networking cocktail named the “Retail Bastille Day“.
Participants were welcomed by the MAPIC team led by Filippo Rean, Director of Reed MIDEM’s Real Estate Division. Among the key speakers who provided interesting insights were Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group, Ryan Patel, Vice President of Global Development of Pinkberry Ventures and Jason D. Richter, U.S. representative for Perfumania and CEO and Founder of Capricorn Asset Management.
